Away from you

Here's a small poem I wrote in a haste on my friends website:http://the-vault.co.cc
where, she keeps a competition called 'Giveaways' .A line is given, to complete and if it's the best, you get a book in return! woo hoo!
the line was During Autumn, I......
I am not much of a writer, but here's is what I could think of!

During Autumn I, await the winter
to come and bury the things of yesterday.
Yesterday, that was shining bright,
that was dancing,
to the songs we sang all night.

During autumn I, await the wind,
to take away the memories.
Memories that still bind
me and you.

During autumn, I am still,
dry and withered away,
broken but not yet
away from you.

I have waited for long,
for time to come and wipe me off.
away from you.
I have waited,
for someone to come and
sing me the unsung song
of love and hope.

During autumn, I am still waiting
in hope, for that someone
to be you.

During Autumn I, wish that it
had never come.
For it took me away,
away from you.

Doing Good and Getting...?

I was once scrolling through my facebook's homepage where I saw one of my friend's status message, it said, "Doing good leads you nowhere..!"; I bet she was upset about not getting what she expected. This led me to thinking, is doing good relative to getting good? If all the good we do is because we expect we'll be reciprocated with goodness in return?
The objects of the world, the people around us or say all the external objects a person interacts with,is not in his or her control. Their reactions cannot be in any one's control, anticipating and having expectations from the same is folly of one's own mind. Human mind is so dynamic that one can never really judge in which direction it would jump. Now, with something as unstable as this, how can I expect robotic and monotonic responses?! Hence, my good doings don't give me any guarantee of good receivings!
If someone believes in good-ness and always does good just because that person feels he or she be treated well in return; then I wonder if such good-ness is even good?!THINK!
According to me, if one feels like always doing good then one must continue doing good, even if you are left with empty hands; such actions are genuine and uncontaminated by the prejudice of expectations. The things that actually leave you hurt are expectations and attachments. Expectations not fulfilled leaves one discontended; expectations unmatched from someone you're attached to leaves you feeling hurt. So, friends let's not fall into the trap of expectations( negative) and attachments. let's keep ourselves free from such self created bondages, feel the life inside us and not put our heads and hearts into so much trouble.
Let's not just settle with good, let's strive to achieve greatness.
Replacing goodness with greatness will make our actions self-less and nobler.

What do you say? :)

I'll Be There For You

My Life becomes a series of celebration with the people I have in it.

FRIENDS are such an important part of everyone's life, I am glad to say that I have many.

Time passes and they might not be very close to you,but once you bump into them it's like you just met them yesterday. And you realise they can be never gone.
Friends stay Friends.. no matter how many years pass!
The beauty of friendship lies in its honesty and the genuine love for who they are inside.

Some of them touch your lives in a very unique way and i'm going to introduce them to all of you!
If am Mad.. they are the Maddest , craziest and the most lovely and adorable people in my life. There are many such people but to just name the top most crazy guys [ha ha ha... can't help it; I have promised to be honest! ;) ].

These two crackpots are friends from my old school and for life!
  • Shriya Garg
  • Piyush Kumar
These are the buddies for all MAD adventures.. :D
  • Ankita Bagri
  • Kaveri Bhatia
  • Paridhi Shrimali
  • Shriya Singhla

Sanya Dutta and Geet Awana; did i say CRAZY, and not mention not them?!

When I think of all these people and the time spent with them, I feel that I have learnt so much from them and so much with them. Each one of them is so different from the other; so perfectly crafted for utter maddness (my friends for sure!). Every moment with them becomes a joy ride, an experience and most importantly-A Memory. :)
             For all the Laughter
             For all the sad times
             For the unbreakable ties
             For all the secret plans
             For all the warm hugs
             For the many moments created.

                                             I thank you all.

Welcome!!!

HEY!

First of all, A warm welcome to Rhythmic Existence!

This isn't really an ordinary music blog. Its a blog about the music of life, the music that we all hum.
It's about rhythms that i feel, exist in my life.
In this maddening world, I too am running like everyone of you with a search light in my hand looking around at the things of the world and I take a pause; only to realise that the search light should be pointing towards me!
'Rhytmic Existence' is about the little pauses I take from this mindless running just to remind myself, "Hey Girl! you are alive!" and believe me it feels great!
I often keep to myself, my thoughts and reactions of things and events around me but, I now have decided to share them honestly not to please, not to hurt.

SMILE..SMILE.. and..SMILE
its an infectious thing that we all love to carry!

So lets share :)
Be happy and Calm.

P.S.- I would love to read if you have something to share :)
